Our milk laboratory
The milk laboratory of the Sächsischen Landeskontrollverbades e.V. examines the milk delivered by dariy farmers who primarily deliver to Saxon dairies. The scope as well as the criteria for evaluation and payment are defined in the "Verordnung zur Förderung der Güte von Rohmilch" of January 11, 2021.
As part of testing for GERO, milk samples from individual animals are analyzed for milk ingredients and somatic cell content. As a service for dariy farmers, self-marketers and dairies, the milk laboratory tests samples as part of on-farm inspections. Cow's, goat's and sheep's milk can be tested.
